Ghost report from Moe on October 6, 2015:

“It was late 2005; I was living in Prince Albert when a friend that just came to town rented a house for himself. A few days after he moved in he tells me that the house is haunted and he won’t stay there.

Being a sceptic, I did not believe him. We even spent a few nights trying to spot it, but didn’t see a thing. Still my buddy insisted that there was a black shadow walking around and abandoned the house.

A few weeks had passed, but he still had the keys so we had a little party. Around one or one thirty, everyone decided to leave and go home. I decided rather then go home, I’ll just stay at the house.

My buddy strongly suggested I did not stay there, but I wasn’t afraid and didn’t really believe anything was there anyways.

So everyone is gone and I’m all alone. So I go to the bedroom. Just after I lay down, I start to hear coughing. I dismiss the unusual sound for somehow being able to hear the neighbors.

Then I start to hear someone walking around in the house. At this point I was scared for the first time in my life. I wanted to jump out the window when at almost 3:00 a.m. exactly, someone wearing boots comes stomping up the stairs straight toward my room, pauses outside my door, then through the wall a shadow of a humanlike figure started to form in the room with me.

I was frozen, but when I saw the shadow I sat up and looked away only for a second. I looked back and it was gone, and no more noises.

I lied there, unable to get up and leave, when my buddy came back to see if I was alright.

I never went back and my buddy cancelled the lease. But now I know there’s more out there.”

True Ghost Story: She Was Curled Up On The Couch

Location: Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada

The following report was sent into our website by Ferris on March 31, 2012:

“I had recently moved back to Prince Albert to live with my family again. During my time away, my brother’s wife’s sister had hung herself. I went for a visit not knowing this information at the time, expecting to have a few drinks with my brother. I went into his basement and was a little concerned about my surroundings because of how scary the basement looked. As I sat in the basement alone I started to think who would sleep in this room? Because of the holes in the walls that were all around, and because the room was located in the middle of the basement and had only one light that worked which was in the room. I began to feel like I was being watched and started to think what if? So I called for my brother and he finally came down laughing because he forgot I was in town. I asked him whose clothes these were scattered across the basement floor and who slept in this room. He replied ” My wife’s sister.” and left it at that.

We went back upstairs and continued to drink and catch up with our lives. My brother, as drunk as he was, went to bed in the room and left me to my own company in the living room. As I was falling asleep I had started to think of that basement and how freaky it was. Ignoring my thoughts I tried to sleep. But as soon as I shut my eyes I heard a woman whisper into my ear “I’m sorry” followed by the sound of someone being choked. I jumped up and called for my brother but had no reply, so I put up my hood and rolled over on the couch and forced myself to sleep not believing what I had just heard.

The next morning my brother asked if I called his name and I said “Yeah” explaining what had happened. He was shocked and finally told me that his wife’s sister had hung herself and that she slept in the basement. I had met this woman once before so I knew how she looked and was shocked to hear of her death.

About 3 weeks went by and I had convinced myself that what I heard could not have been real. I was visiting at a friends about 2 blocks away from my brother’s house. I had once again had beers with me and wanted to go for a drink at my brother’s. So I started walking up towards his house from the back alley and noticed that the kitchen light was on. I assumed someone was home and walked up to the door and let myself in. At first I looked down at the floor and did not see any shoes at the door-way, because of the door being open it did not seem weird to me at first.

I sat down in the kitchen and turned on the radio and cracked a beer. After a moment of sitting there expecting my brother to come greet me I started to call for him to come out of the room. No one answered, so I walked to his room expecting to see him sleeping but no one was there. I started to call for his wife but had no reply. I walked past the bathroom towards the living room where I heard the voice and started to think why is the door open and no one home? As I entered the living room I saw what looked like a woman curled up with her arms around her legs and head down, at the end of the couch. At first I thought my brother and his wife had got into a fight and she was crying. I asked her whats wrong? no reply. I had called out her name 3 times. No reply. Then I started to think of the girl who killed herself and as I did that the girl slowly lifted up her head and we locked eyes. At that moment I knew who she was.

I was frozen in fear but forced my body to run through the kitchen pushing the table and chairs out of my way heading out the door. As I was running through the back alley I looked back and saw the kitchen light go out. I ran to my aunty’s bare-foot and went to bed right away and did not say a word when she asked me “What’s wrong?”

2 Days later I got a call from my brother asking me if I broke into his house and in reply I said “No…..did you find my shoes?” He said “Yeah.” “Did you find your kitchen a mess and beer on your floor?” “Yeah.” I then asked him “Did you lock your door before you went out and shut off all the lights?” and his answer was “Of course I did we went for a trip to B.C for a week.”

True Ghost Story: Ghost Warns of Grandpa’s Death

Location: Prince Albert, SaskatchewanCanada

The following report was sent into our website by Rayelle on Nov 26, 2010:

“I am currently 18 and have what I would somewhat call a gift. I see spirits and all sorts of supernatural things no matter where I go. My most touching encounter happened when I was 12 years old. I awoke from a deep sleep and had to go to the washroom. My father’s bedroom was directly beside mine and it was just us two for the night. I opened the bathroom door when I was finished and I saw a very tall figure in front of me. I was forced directly on back, not pushed by hands but as if I were blown on my back. The figure walked into the kitchen and walked right through the outside wall where the stove was. I went and opened my father’s door and he was sleeping.

A good week passed by and I was downstairs. Directly infront of me was the entrance to the laundry room. A tall man with bleach blonde hair wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt walked out of the laundry room entrance and was looking at me, I observed. I didn’t recognize the man. I said to him “sir, is there something wrong?” He walked towards me and disappeared. Two weeks later my best friend and I went into my room and sat on the bed. I looked up and in the living room there he was again. Same man same outfit, just watching me. I stared back at him and my friend suddenly became very frantic. He had made himself visable to her as well. She ran to the door and slammed it. I opened it again and told her to go outside I’ld be right behind her. She left and I asked it what it wanted. It looked at me for a long time, came closer and reached out its hand and pointed at the wall.

My grandmother wanted to help me determine who it was. We went through several family photographs but the man could not be identified. Two days later, my grandfather unexpectedly died from a heart attack, but something wasn’t right. I went back to my house to recall my thoughts about what had happened last time I had seen this man. When I entered my house I got this over whelming wave of emotion. I ran to the living room and to my surprise the man I had been seen pointed at a picture on the wall of me, my grandmother, and recently deceased grandfather. I couldn’t believe what was happening at the time but the man was trying to tell me or warn me. Since then I have never seen this man, I don’t know who he was to this day.”

True Ghost Story: The Cat Came Back

Location: Prince Albert, SaskatchewanCanada

The following report was sent into our website by Kelsey on April 4, 2008:

“This didn’t happen to me, but to my auntie Maralin when she was living in Prince Albert, Canada. When she was younger, her first born my god brother (Branden) was about 3-5 years of age. Whenever she was cleaning her house she would always find black hair everywhere. She could not find where this mysterious hair was coming from, but time after time again she would always find this hair. It couldn’t have possibly been from an animal because at the time she didn’t have any animals living in her home. Almost every time she found this hair she would see something out of the corner of her eye. She knew it was an animal. She could see its “animal like” figure or shape. She would always go to the place where she saw this mysterious creature, but she never found anything.

She was the only person who would see his creature, until one day she was washing dishes and her son (my god brother) saw it too. He was standing behind her, “Mom, where did that CAT come from?” She turned around and looked at her son. “What cat hunny?”. He answered, “The cat that went over there!” He pointed down the hall. His mom answered with another question “Hunny, Where did this cat go?” He looked at her for a moment, then answered, “It went into the bathroom!” She ran down the hall to go and see where this cat was. She went into the bathroom, but all she found was alot of black hair! After her son saw this “cat” non of them ever saw the cat again. It had simply vanished. Like into thin air.

I hope you enjoyed.”
