Beverly Hills Ghosts: Woman In White

Ghost report on October 23, 2015:

“Me and my cousin moved into a large house in Beverly Hills after we got a job there. When we first moved there, I felt like a presence was there watching us, but I avoided it. And things were a little messed up, like small things starting to disappear all by itself and things not found where we kept them. It was only one month after we moved in when things started getting worse.

One day I was just watching the TV while my cousin was sleeping upstairs in her room. After 6-7 minutes my cousin came down and asked if I was knocking on her bedroom door, and I replied no. She again went to sleep and shortly after that she screamed from her room. I immediately went up and asked her what was going on. She said she again heard knocking on the door and when she opened it she saw no one, but out of the corner of her eye she saw a white figure running in the kitchen. She thought it was her imagination, but decided to check there and saw the same white figure staring at her then disappear.

Shortly after that our four year-old cousin Kaelyn came to stay with us for a week. When she first entered she began to stare at the corner of the hall. When we asked what she was staring at she pointed at the corner of the hall and asked “Who is she?” But there was no one. That night she started crying without a reason and said that the women she had seen in the hall had followed her upstairs.

I decided to sleep with her as she was very scared. At midnight something woke me up, it was a white figure and it told me to go away. When I went closer to get a clear view, I saw that the white figure was a woman all in white, even her hair and her skin were white. It freaked me out. As I got closer to touch her she disappeared.”

Bakersfield Ghosts: Heavy Breathing in My Ear

Location: Bakersfield, California, USA

The following report was sent into our website by Tyler on February 15, 2015:

“This happened about 7 yrs ago. I was staying over at a girlfriend’s house one night and it was somewhere around 3 or 4 am. I was half-conscious laying on my right side on the right side of the bed. She was on the left side facing the wall. The bedroom door was about 10 feet away. Well, as I was laying there, from the door footsteps across the wooden floor began to pick up pace to a full run and stop directly on me. I felt pressure along my right side push me down into the mattress and a heavy breathing which I felt directly in my ear. I literally could not move, couldn’t speak. I was wide awake in my mind but could not control my body, I was paralyzed it felt like. I kept telling myself with this heavy breathing in my ear, “don’t open your eyes, don’t open your eyes, you don’t want to see this”.

It probably lasted over a minute, but felt like forever. The breathing stopped. I could feel the pressure release and myself raise in the mattress. I was able to snap up to my elbow and I just yelled in the direction of the door,“enough! Leave me alone!” Needless to say I didn’t go back to sleep after that.

Now, I knew the house had something going on there because they told me a few nights prior. They showed me a video they shot themselves of a dark hooded figure standing against the wall. and this capture was on complete accident. It was the most amazing footage I’ve seen. I’m pretty sure that was what came at me…it definitely didn’t feel friendly. Like it was upset I was there. I still remember that night like it was yesterday.”

Brentwood Ghosts: Something Swung The Door Open

Location: Brentwood, California, USA

The following report was sent into our website by Christina on March 10, 2014:

“I use to live with my grandparents. I was about 10 years old when I found out I was a sensitive. My parents moved in on the property in a mobile home, and my grandparents left me for four days in the house alone with my parents next door while I watched the dog, Daisy.

Well night fell on the first night, and it was fine until I went to bed. In the living room I could hear the news on the TV, but I could see the TV from my room, it was off. So I locked my door. All of a sudden my door swung open, the dog hid under my bed and I left to my dad’s next door. The next morning I found Daisy had chewed up the blinds trying to get out.

It was summer and I had turned the air off. The door is heavy, it takes great force to move over the rug at all. I definitely believe this was a ghost.

I have had more experiences over the years.”

True Ghost Story: The Dog With Red Eyes

Location: Rocklin, California, USA

The following report was sent into our website by Chelsea on Dec 8, 2013:

“I keep hearing my name being screamed. That, or I’m waking up and seeing my bedside table flipped over, the pictures of me and my family on the floor. I woke up one night to see a dog with red eyes looking at me, he wasn’t growling or anything just staring. I glared and went to sleep only to hear “wake up I’m home it’s your time to work.” I didn’t know what it meant so I got up and went into the kitchen and made tea for myself.

The next week I hear screaming, fighting and the growling of a dog. I walk into the hall and see the same dog snarling and growling into my gramma’s bedroom. I didn’t think anything of it, so I shut her door and walked into my room. I kinda just don’t mind him anymore. The dog is always with me, I kinda gave up telling him to leave.

Last night things freaked me out. The dog was snarling and my kitten was hissing! I looked at the front of my bed which is right in front of my light and window, a shadow of a man stood there. He looked so real. the way his eyes were black, the way he stood strong and mature but looked so young. I just shushed them both and kept watching him. The dog stopped growling and he left.

For some reason I do not fear this dog or this man. They don’t seem to be evil and mean any harm. The dog is always near me. I can’t seem to lose him, but now I don’t think I want to. He’s become a friend, as crazy as it sounds. His eyes don’t scare me and I don’t push him away anymore. I will not disturb what seems fine.”

True Ghost Story: Murdered Lady Buried in House Now Haunts

Location: San Francisco, California, USA

The following report was sent into our website by Pricilla on Oct 28, 2013:

“My Mother’s family resides in the fabulous city of San Francisco. She has many brothers and sisters, one of them happened to purchase a beautiful home in an upscale neighborhood.

One day my cousin got up to fix herself some breakfast, the kitchen is adjacent to the staircase which you cannot see because of a wall, however back in the day all the stairs in this house were covered with laminate to ensure easy cleaning. While she was at the stove she heard her husband coming down the stairs, as the sound of someone coming down the stairs was all too prominent. She said “Good Morning” and looked up to greet her husband – except it wasn’t him. It was a young lady with a white lace dress that looked back at her from the bottom of the stairs. She locked eyes with her and proceeded to the basement’s staircase which was directly beneath her. My cousin could not move; she was scared stiff. She opened her mouth to yell but no sound came out.The lady started to appear more often and when she did, she would always lock eyes with the person who saw her and then slowly walk away.

I didn’t hear this story until years after it happened, my family did not want anyone to know about the ghostly lady that was appearing throughout the house. For some reason I always felt weird being in that house, but as a kid I couldn’t put my finger as to why. Until one day when I stayed the night.

My parents were drinking into the wee hours in the morning, the bar area of the house was abundant with adults sharing stories and taking shots. As I was a kid, around ten years old or so, I was given a strict bed time and was hurried to bed around eleven. I stayed in one of the guest rooms on the top floor of the house, the one my Grandma used to stay in before she passed a few years ago. Although the house gave me chills, I felt comforted knowing I slept in the same bed as her, I was close to her when she was alive. Hearing the music and the laughter below me, I couldn’t fall asleep. Finally I drifted off but was awaken to a whimsical jingle. I opened my eyes and wondered where it came from, it was so close. Half asleep, I turned on the lamp next to me and my head drifted towards the source of the sound. It came from a doll on the other side of the room. You know the dolls where the head, eyes, and arms moved to the sound of the music? The head turned slowly in my direction and the eyes opened up. Even though the music was still playing, nothing moved. As soon as I locked eyes, the music stopped and her eyes closed. I felt a chilly draft and I no longer felt alone in the room, it was as if someone was lying next to me. I bolted out of that room as fast as I could, the fear intensified my urgency to get out of there. I ran all the way to the adults but I couldn’t bring myself to tell them what happened. How could I tell them that I felt the doll was alive? I slept in the living room that night, with my parents who had crashed. I stayed underneath the blanket the entire time and even though I felt like I was losing my breath, I couldn’t bring myself to lift the covers.

Many years later, I found that my family had moved to another home. It was then that I decided to share my story with one of my family members. She just looked at me and said, “So you know about the lady buried under the bar then?” She told me that when the house was originally bought by my aunt and uncle it was for a killer deal- no pun intended. This is a very large, luxurious house and they could not turn the offer down. The realtors wanted to get rid of the house because of the reputation that came with it- my family were foreigners, they didn’t care- all they seen was a beautiful house for an amazing deal.

The house was previously owned by a family of just a husband and wife. The husband was said to be very jealous and often the neighbors wouldn’t see the wife because she was not allowed to go outside. This is why the neighbors didn’t question it when she had gone missing. He told a story of how they got divorced and she moved away. The neighbors were sad but didn’t care enough to pursue the reason behind the divorce. From what I am told, one day the husband brutally murdered his wife and buried her in an area in the second living room, eventually he covered the area with a bar. He hired his own family to help build the bar, which was immaculate. He wanted it this way, after all who would ever want to tear the bar down in the future? He made sure it was beautiful- he wanted her to stay down there forever. Eventually he passed on- by his own hands. His family found him hanging from the garage ceiling. This is the murder that the realtors conveyed to my family. That this man hung himself- no one knew about the lady buried in the bar. Not until many years later.

There was some plumbing issues in the downstairs bathroom and the house got flooded at one point. All the carpeting had to be removed, and upon the removal the workers noticed a little discrepancy in the cementing- parts of the cement were darker than the others. For some reason or another, they started to dig up the cement and they found nothing. Until a piece of cloth peeked between the shreds of the concrete. This sparked a curiosity and they kept digging in that area. What they found was the skeleton of a lady shrouded in what looked like a lacy dress.”

True Ghost Story: Bloody Mary

Location: California, USA

The following report was sent into our website by Vanessa on April 4, 2012:

“It started out one day while I was home alone at midnight. I guess I was bored so I decided to call Bloody Mary, I didn’t believe in her but I had nothing better to do. Anyways at 12 p.m I decided to call her. I turned on the shower, flushed the toilet, turned on the sink, tuned the lights off and said “Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary”. Well after a couple of minutes of trying to get Mary out of the mirror I left.

That night when my parents, brother and sister were home I went to sleep. At about 2 a.m I decided to get a drink of water since my throat was dry, so as I went to get water I passed by my computer I noticed it was on sleep. I moved the mouse and it was on my desktop but on my desktop there was a note that said “You shouldn’t have done that”. Well I was pretty scared so I got a drink and went to bed.

The next day after the computer incident I started to think, no one knew about me calling her then I started thinking “Can Mary be real” No, its impossible I said as I shook my head. So later that day while taking a shower, once again home alone, the light turned off. I thought it might have been the power so I wrapped myself in my towel and walked out to see my light switch which was outside of my washroom, the light was turned off by someone. I knew because my switch was down. Later I came back into the washroom and there was a hand print on my mirror which was covered in fog, it was tinier than mine so I knew that it wasn’t my hand.

Later in my house I heard noises, footsteps and sometimes voices. I still don’t believe in Bloody Mary but my experience was pretty scary!”
