Ghost report from Shelby on April 9, 2015:

“I was 14 years old and living with my nana. My grandpa had passed away four years prior to this incident.

I was home alone and my nana was at work. I was in the basement watching TV until a little while after she had left, when I decided to go upstairs and watch TV instead.

I got upstairs and settled down on the couch. I grabbed the remote control and the moment I turned the TV on this loud, ear-splitting, blood-curdling static noise blared out. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me where it was coming from. I played with the TV and wires attached to the TV thinking it was coming from the TV. No success.

I started getting a headache and as I was walking past the stairs to go to the washroom to get Advil, I realized it was coming from the basement. I then turned and slowly began to walk down the stairs. The static noise got louder and louder . I followed the noise, my head pounding at this point, until I got to this little radio on the floor beside my grandpa’s recliner. The freaky part? It wasn’t even plugged in. I hit it a few times and then it finally stopped. It didn’t ever happen again after that.

Honestly, I would like to believe that it was my Grandpa saying hi from beyond the grave, but I can’t. Ever since I was very young, way before my grandpa passed, I always got an uneasy feeling when I would go down there and still do to this day. I believe it was something else, I don’t know what, but I will never forget that noise.”
