The following report was sent into our website by Margaret on April 9, 2012:
“When my nephew was four years old, his parents put in a new bathroom in their bungalow. After bringing a bathroom vanity into the house, my nephew asked his mom, “Who was the old man helping you bring in the sink?“
His mom replied that there was no old man, yet my nephew insisted, “The old man in the hat. Who was it?“
Perplexed, the boy’s mother called in her sister who once had a similar occurrence. Years before, my nephew’s aunt witnessed a similar old man at the foot of her bed, in Bolton, Canada, who vanished without explanation.
Both my nephew and his aunt described the old man as short, with an English mustache and an old-fashioned hat.
Since then, both families have felt and heard footsteps in their respective houses. Footsteps that drag slowly and heavily across the floor. Like those of an old man.”
