The following report was sent into our website by Annette on March 27, 2005:
“Way back in the late 80s, my brother, sister, and myself were driving towards town from our family farm, which is roughly a five minute drive. As we neared the village, we noticed a man walking towards town as well, but on the other side of the road. He was very tall and extremely thin. He had an old black coat with tails on, and pants and a top hat with black and white stripes on them. All of his clothing was dusty and wrinkled, as if he lived in them. We did not see his face, as we were heading the same way he was. We drove past him.
As we turned a corner, I finally asked, “Did you see that?” Yes, was the reply from both of them. My brother then turned the car around and we went back to see who it was. In the minutes it took for us to turn around and head back around the corner to where we had seen him, he had disappeared. However, there was nowhere for him to go, except into the woods. In general, I have a bad feeling about this, even thinking about it now gives me a chill.”
