Ghost report by John on April 8, 2015:
“I was working late, about 6;30 pm, at a cancer place called Name Withheld in Edinburgh which looks after terminally ill folk. I was working there laying carpets tiles on the 2nd floor in October 2012. I was doing a corridor one night, in which I had spread glue on the floor, which lead to a dead end. The corridor I was doing was a T shape which lead to three offices and a cupboard, so there was only one way in.
So I had spread glue on the floor which is transparent and sticky so that the carpet tiles don’t slide. So I’m on my knees laying tiles, and someone or something walks right across in front of me into one of the rooms. I thought, “wait a minute, nobody should be up here”. I thought it was one of the painters or porters, so I shouted “who’s there?”. No answer. I quickly got up, placed tiles on the floor to step on as the floor was still wet, and went to check the rooms. Nobody was there.
It was definitely a figure that walked past, it caught my attention. My boss phoned me asking how I was getting on and I told him what had happened. He just laughed.
That’s just some of what’s being going on. I’ve spoken to people who’ve worked there and there’s been banging and strange things going on over the years.”
