The following report was sent into our website by Randy on March 17, 2013:
“My dad was driving a 1956 Chevy, we stopped at Cannington Manor. My mom and dad was in their car and us kids went to play. My dad noticed a red light coming out of the grave near the church, it was getting dark out so mom hollered at us kids to come back to the car. Dad was freaking out. He peeled out of there on two wheels.
The story goes a young couple across the road from the museum had just got married. He tried to please her but she was getting angry. He could not take it anymore and shot her. He then hung himself in the barn. They were buried across the road near the church. It is told that he comes out on a regular basis as a red light and goes into his wife’s grave.
This is very true as you will find out that two young couples were there once. The guys wanted to play a trick on their misses. One guy hid with a red flashlight bulb and he died of a massive heart attack. The flashlight was not turned on. This was in Estevans Newspaper. Check the courthouse for records, you will find out it to be very true. Thank you.”
