The following report was sent into our website by Kaitlyn on Oct 5, 2011:
“My story begins at my old house, this house was over 100 years old. And when my parents had gone to get the history of the house to get their house plaque, they found out that our house had belonged to a pediatrician. This information was all found out years after my ghost experience, but it is very relevant to my story.
I am 19 years old now, but at the time I was in grade 4, so around the age of 10. My room was in the basement. It was late at night, I was up because I love to read before I go to sleep. I heard footsteps and rushed to turn off the light in my room, thinking that it was my parents coming to check up on us. I waited for my parents to come down the stairs so that I could close my eyes and pretend to sleep. But instead I saw a small boy in pajamas carrying a blankie start to crawl up the stairs. I thought that it was my younger brother who was 6 years old, because he never went anywhere without his blankie. A couple minutes later, he disappeared at the top of the stairs and I decided that it was time to go to sleep because I was starting to feel tired. Just as I closed my eyes I felt something watching me and opened my eyes to see my other younger brother, age 8, standing in my doorway looking terrified. He asked me if I had seen the little boy crawling up the stairs. I of course said yes, and that it was our other brother. He shook his head, eyes wide and skin pale. He then told me that he was still sleeping in his bed beside him. I immediately felt goosebumps on my arms and a shiver up my spine. My brother ran up to my bed and we slept together that night, both not sleeping and thinking of the small ghost boy who had crawled up the stairs. Of course when we told our parents that morning, they did not believe us. And to this day we still tell that story like it happened yesterday. How can two people see the exact same thing?”
