The following report was sent into our website by Lyn on December 23, 2009:
“I had a very close friend of mine, Sean, pass away on Dec.16,2003. Him and I loved ghost stories and would even do some ghost hunting together when he was alive. He used to always tell me that if he ever passed away he would come back and haunt everyone he knew, including me! Well he did just that! 3 weeks after his passing I came home to a very freaked out roomate telling me that Sean had been there to visit. I laughed it off as she proceeded to tell me about banging noises that she was hearing coming from my bedroom (my bedroom wall shared the wall from the dining room). She told me neither of my cats were in my room nor in the vicinity of the banging noises. Both her and I chose to forget about the incident and went about our day.
A day or 2 later I was alone in the apartment. It was around midnight and I was just getting ready for bed, both cats were on my bed as I was getting ready to turn my lamp off for the night. I then heard a three part bang coming from the wall above my head, the wall adjoining the dining room. The banging was so loud it was rattling the wall and I could feel the vibrations, definately it was coming from the dining room and not the apartment below me. The 3 part bang happened again, to which I replied back with a 3 part bang of my own. Then it happened again. We did this back and forth probably four times until I finally yelled “dammit Sean stop it! I need to sleep” the banging stopped.
A few weeks after that I was falling asleep and I heard his voice. I whispered I missed him and my hand became surrounded by a cold tingly sensation, I started bawling. I heard him say that he loved me, that he would always be with me but it was time for him to go. He stayed with me until I fell asleep. Since then I haven’t had any real encounters with him, sometimes I can smell his cologne and I’ve felt him watching me. He has visited me in my dreams since and has shown me a couple signs that he’s still with me, like snow in Sept when I asked him for a sign. He has also visited his sister and his family a couple times turning off lights when their eating his favorite food. He’s a friendly ghost and I hope he never fully leaves me!”
