The following report was sent into our website by Barbara on June 16, 2007:
“My husband and I bought a house from a man who was believed to have murdered his wife who separated from him shortly before she died. One night I was thinking about what I had heard of the facts and all of the newspaper articles of the husband’s trial I had saved. I kept thinking about how people were saying the murder was committed by the woman’s oldest son, or her husband, but no one knew for sure. It never went to trial as the man committed suicide running his car into a tractor trailer truck.
This particular night was very hot and I had my air conditioning on and went to bed around 11:00 pm still thinking about this stuff. My oldest son had some friends over for a swim and was downstairs visiting with them. My other two smaller children were in bed while my husband was working his night shift. Out of nowhere I was woken by a very loud bang! My bathroom door that adjoins to our master suite suddenly flew open. It hit our towel rack with such a thud it made a mark. I was coming out of a deep sleep and happened to look at my clock and it was around 1:00 a.m. The 1st strange thing is… this door flew INWARDS towards the bathroom. There was NO breeze as the windows were shut due to the air being on.
The second thing I thought was maybe one of my son’s friends got mixed up as it was their first time here and turned the doorknob and walked into my bedroom by mistake and was so embarrassed they just left the door opened after leaving. I was so shook up I left it and told my son the next morning along with my husband. I finally asked my son if one of his friends had used our washroom instead of the one downstairs?? He said no mom they all left around 12:00 p.m. So the only explanation I can come to was the lady who was murdered was giving me a sign that she did NOT want me to believe it was her son and to stop questioning it. I figure it had to be her husband as nothing like that has happened since.”
