“It’s not the Travel Lodge that has this ghost, it’s the Best Western Salmon Arm Inn. And I know this because I work there. Room 117 does not get rented out anymore, it is currently used as a storage room.”

UPDATE – The following report was sent into our website by Josh on March 20, 2019:

“A few months back, I was staying at the Best Western in room 105. It was around 1:30 AM and I was lying in bed on my phone as I could not fall asleep.

I saw a dark figure come out of the bathroom. I thought nothing of it and thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. About a minute later, I felt a slap on my leg.

I was really confused and sort of scared at the same time.

Then I saw a dark figure go back into the bathroom area and heard a slight scream that sounded like a young little girl.

I packed up all my stuff as quick as I could and told the front desk about the situation and they offered a new room, I kindly declined as I was only staying there the one night.

As far as I know, the room is still not being rented.”

True Ghost Story: Your Mother Just Walked Behind You

“I submitted the Travel Lodge report in Salmon Arm BC months back. I check your website out frequently..

This I find hard to explain. I will try my best. I was in a recently changed-over tavern in Salmon Arm. I will not mention the franchise. I was with 3 friends, we put back a few pints. The manager behind the bar was, well, kinda peeved and wanted us out. Being honest here. I was paying the tab, I want to explain this to you that I have never met this woman. I asked her if your mother has recently passed? She had a shocked look on her face. She replied, “how did you know?” I told her that “she just walked behind you”.

I think the apparition that I saw was real. Mostly it shocked me as well. Once again, thanks.”

Dark Figure at Travel Lodge in Salmon Arm

The following report was sent into our website:

“My spouse and I took a room (Room 117) late at night. My spouse was asleep and I was sitting on a chair. I couldn’t sleep and was uneasy.

Out from the bathroom came this dark figure, I knew it was a woman. It was like the entity went through me. I woke up my spouse, in a panic. We went to the front desk and demanded another room, they complied.

Next morning checking out, we were discussing the ordeal with the front attendants. They informed us that a girl hung herself in the bathroom.

We stay there a lot, so we got to know the maintenance man well. They do not rent the room out anymore after my report, and other reports.

When the maintenance man enters, he speaks aloud. Her name is Bernadette and tells her he’s there to fix something.

This is not the first occurrence I have had with the paranormal. I had no prior knowledge of Bernadette, if I did I would not have taken this room. Anyhow that’s my true story. Thanks for listening, Donna.”
