The following report was sent into our website by Karli on August 22, 2009:
“An event happened in my old house that I will never forget. I was from 8 to 10 years old (I’m 16 now, so I can’t quite be sure, sorry), I lived in the very small village of Perdue. I spent most of my time in the basement, where I played my video games, watched T.V., etc. One day, my neighbour’s niece, who was about my age, came over to play with me, so while both my mom and step-dad were out of town, we went downstairs and began watching a movie. As we were sitting on the couch comfortably, I felt the sudden urge to look behind me, at the coffee table. My diary had been sitting there, but then it started shaking slightly. Then suddenly, without warning, it flew up about a foot above the table, then dropped to the floor. I didn’t know what to do, but my friend also saw this, and became frightened, so the two of us went back to her uncle’s house. When I came back home, and downstairs, I saw that my diary was still laying on the floor. Please keep in mind that I have no siblings, and the only household pet cat was upstairs. People have suggested that it may have been the wind, but the basement has no windows, and no fans to blow any sort of wind that would be required to lift such a weight and still be undetected (since we didn’t feel any gusts of wind). About a month or so later, my mom also told me of an incident when she was in the kitchen upstairs, and suddenly, the plastic containers fell to the ground as if someone knocked them over. This was the last case of odd activity at this house however, and we didn’t get any more mysterious happenings after that. I’ll never forget about that day, though, and I still can’t pose a logical explanation other than a spirit passing by and making a little mischief. lol”
