The following report was sent into our website by December 16, 2009:
“I was walking home one night after visiting some friends of mine, late in winter. I crossed a bridge on my way home, when I could hear splashing in the water, as if someone was swimming in the creek. I didn’t think of it at the time, but nothing should have been splashing in the water because the creek was frozen over. As I walked along, I could hear footsteps for every one that I took. It frightened me and I ran, but whatever it was ran as well. I got inside my house at three in the morning, and within two minutes of being inside there were three distinct knocks on the door.
Fresh snow had fallen that night, and the only footsteps leading towards the door were my own. I ran outside after hearing the knocks and turned on our porch light to discover that no one was there. My footprints were the only sets of prints in the snow. I still can’t explain what it was that followed me home, but I didn’t see anything.”
